Ingredients
1 8oz bag
Cheddar Style Shreds
1-1/4
cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp.
coarse salt
1 tsp.
ground pepper
1 tsp.
cayenne pepper
1 tsp.
garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp.
baking powder
1 12oz
package vegan ground round – try Beyond Meat
1
small yellow onion
8
crimini mushrooms
3 tbsp.
olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Add Daiya Cheddar Style Shreds and toss to coat.
In a food processor, blend the onion and mushrooms until finely minced.
Add round, onion & mushroom paste, and olive oil to the bowl.
Stir everything with a large spoon until well combined.
With your hands, roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake until balls are golden and cooked through, about 25 minutes.
Serve warm.
